CIRCULAR ECONOMY

Some of our commitments are to reduce waste and obtain a cleaner business.

We identify solid and liquid waste, then generate organic fertilizer and biogas, which help us improve the land of our customers and suppliers as well as generate renewable energy for processing plants.

Meet our business model

ZERO DEFORESTATION OIL

The zero deforestation and low GHG emissions business model, together with the investment model, have been designed and implemented within the framework of the project "Business models to address the drivers of deforestation in Peru – Sustainable Amazon Businesses" (SAB), led by the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) as part of the Alliance between Bioversity International and CIAT, in coordination with the Ministry of the Environment (MINAM), the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (MIDAGRI) of Peru and the Regional Government of Ucayali (GOREU), and in partnership with the international consultancy Climate Focus (CF). Within the framework of the project, the report "Moving towards a palm oil value chain that contributes to the conservation of forest and a reduction in GHG: Current status, opportunities with a value chain approach and action plan" was generated, elaborated from the perspective of forest conservation and the recovery of degraded ecosystems and with solutions provided by the actors of the value chain. This project is part of the International Climate Initiative (IKI), supported by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU).

Continuous improvement of

TRACEABILITY

Using

  • Georeferencing, we identify the extension of the producer's land and the number of oil palm plantations that his plot has; and with
  • Global Forest Watch Pro we make comparisons and analyze the goals established in the zero deforestation model.
